Waiver of Liability
I acknowledge that there are certain risks of physical injury and damage to personal property as I participate in the Event and I agree to waive any liability that may arise associated with participating in the Event.

Assumption of Risk
I acknowledge that there are certain risks of physical injury and damage to personal property as I participate in the Event, and hereby assume the full risk of any injuries and expenses, which I, or my property, may sustain while participating in any activities associated with the Event.

Indemnity Agreement
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless MiLife Sports from all actions, claims, or demands of every nature and kind whatsoever which I, my heirs, or assigns may now, or at anytime thereafter, have against MiLife Sports arising from the Event on account of any loss, damage, or injury, caused by the negligence, default, or misconduct of MiLife Sports while participating in any activities associated with the Event.

MiLife Sports registration is first come first served, so this means that once we hit our max number of players registered (combination of captains, team players, and free agents) the registration will close automatically. If this happens when your team is still partial and "non-secured", then you will be merged and/or moved to/with another team, at the sole discretion of the MiLife Sports. Partial, "non-secured" teams also are subject to having Free Agents placed on it. MiLife Sports will be as fair as possible, but once the registration is closed, no new players will be added, no paid players can be moved to another team, and refunds will not be issued. So, the bottom line is: Be sure to get all your friends signed up and paid before it's too late. Be sure to consistently check your team roster to ensure everyone you want is on your team (It's your captain's fault if you leave a friend behind!) and that you made it onto the right team. Also, captains, be sure to secure your team with the right amount of players, otherwise MiLife Sports will do the filling!

Player Safety & Privacy Disclaimer
+ Please note that all the sports and events we play here at MiLife Sports have risks associated with them and you are fully responsible for looking after yourself. Also, please look after each other. By participating in MiLife Sports sports or activities you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the MiLife Sports Liability Waiver, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement located above. These sports sessions are social and are not led by a qualified instructor. Please consult your doctor if you're unsure whether you're fit enough to be taking part in these sports, as even a sociable beginner sport's game can be demanding.

+ Please be aware that you are responsible for warming up before playing any sport and cooling down & stretching. Those wearing glasses are advised to consider wearing contact lenses, and those wearing watches, earrings, jewelry, and other valuables MUST remove them before playing. Fingernails MUST be trimmed short at all times. In wet weather, please dry your shoes & be careful when running on court to prevent slipping. The only footwear permitted is non-marking sports shoes if at an indoor facility. You are responsible for ensuring that your shoes are appropriate for the sports you play. Please turn all mobile phones off. If you really must take an urgent call then please leave the sports hall so that you don't disturb the other players.

+ All games are to be friendly and not taken seriously, so please don't charge at each other and avoid aggressive behavior. If you're looking for a hard, competitive league to let your aggression out, or to show off then MiLife Sports is not for you. There is no player-directed profanity, fighting-words, and/or derogatory name calling, Period! Furthermore, physical confrontations are strictly prohibited. Keep your hands and mean words to yourselves. We take this seriously and if you break this rule, MiLife Sports may terminate your season without refund. We want to have fun and keep it fun. All of our players must be able to play their sports in safety. If you bring spectators / friends then you are responsible for them & their behavior too. Inconsiderate or dangerous players, spectators, or friends will be banned at MiLife Sports discretion.

+ No smoking is permitted at any of the sports facilities or their grounds. No alcohol or drugs are permitted at any of the sports facilities or theirs grounds. Additionally, no eating is allowed in any of the indoor sports facilities. Make sure that your valuables are well protected in a bag so that they aren't damaged if a stray ball hits it. Don't leave your valuables in the changing rooms. MiLife Sports is not responsible for your personal items. Bring them into the sports facility & find a suitable protected place to put them. By participating with MiLife Sports, you accept full responsibility for damage and loss to yourself and your property, and further agree to the MiLife Sports Liability Waiver, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement located above.

+ By signing up to participate with MiLife Sports and it's sports and events you acknowledge and represent that you are 21 years of age of older. While MiLife Sports is a sport and social club it does not encourage the use of alcohol inappropriately. Furthermore, MiLife Sports stresses not to drink and drive. MiLife Sports, it's partnered bar, and it's sponsors are not responsible for your actions and/or damages resulting thereof. If you are irresponsible and drink and drive you do it at your own risk. MiLife Sports does not encourage you to break the law, instead, if you choose to drink, you should call a cab, walk, or designate a sober driver for the night.

+ MiLife Sports, its partners, and sponsors will not be held responsible for any incidental and/or consequential damages incurred from participating. You play and socialize at your own risk.

+ It is understood that your participation means that you have read, understood, and will abide by these Rules, and the Liability Waiver, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement located above.

+ MiLife Sports Rules, Liability Waiver, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement can be found on our website, at the events and/or games, or by calling us at (517) 258-2211.

+ We are an Adult League for 21 and up, so we strongly, strongly advise NOT to bring minors to any MiLife Sports Event, even as spectators. MiLife Sports players do not want to see little kids running around at an "adult-only" event. Furthermore, MiLife Sports is very concerned about minors mixing with adults, especially when alcohol is involved as it could lead to potentially serious problems and situations. If you decide to go against our discretion, you do so at your own risk and you agree to take total responsibility and liability for that minor, which we will assume is related to you in some way. If a minor is present without an obvious adult player that brought them, please notify a MiLife Sports staff immediately. If we feel the situation is questionable and/or dangerous for the minor or our players, we may send the minor and the accompanying adult home, discontinuing their game-play for that day. Any resistance at this point will lead to a terminated season without refund, police enforcement, and/or legal action. Bottom line, keep your kid safe.....safe at home.

+ MiLife Sports takes pictures and videos at all event functions and by participating, you give MiLife Sports the authorization and full rights to use these pictures and videos of you in any way we want. These photos and videos are the sole property of the MiLife Sports. Don't worry, this media is used primarily for marketing purposes.

+ The bottom line: You and only you take responsibility for you, your stuff, your friends, and your actions. So, be on your best behavior, don't break anything (including the law), and we won't be forced to call you mom.
